The past can hurt but we can learn from it.

lion king is a great movie if you look closely you can learn alot from it. just like here in this little clip. the mistakes that we make in life causes feelings of hurt and greaf but we learn through them and we come out stronger. that is the great thing about the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we excerice faith in Jesus Christ and go forward with our lives we feel that we have the strength to repent of the mistakes that we have done. in mosiah 26:29-31 we read "Therefore I say unto you, Go; and whosoever transgresseth against me, him shall ye ^ajudge ^baccording to the sins which he has committed; and if he ^cconfess his sins before thee and me, and ^drepenteth in the sincerity of his heart, him shall ye ^eforgive, and I will forgive him also.

 30 Yea, and ^aas often as my people ^brepent will I forgive them their trespasses against me.

 31 And ye shall also ^aforgive one another your trespasses; for verily I say unto you, he that forgiveth not his ^bneighbor’s trespasses when he says that he repents, the same hath brought himself under condemnation."

moroni 8:24-26 we read

 24 Behold, my son, this thing ought not to be; for ^arepentance is unto them that are under condemnation and under the curse of a broken law.

 25 And the first fruits of ^arepentance is ^bbaptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth ^cremission of sins;

 26 And the remission of sins bringeth ^ameekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the ^bHoly Ghost, which ^cComforter ^dfilleth with hope and perfect ^elove, which love endureth by ^fdiligence unto ^gprayer, until the end shall come, when all the ^hsaints shall dwell with God.

then we go down to the waters of baptism to have our sins washed away. then recieve the holy ghost. then endure to then end as simba did he changed his life and got back to what he should have been doing. and he did alot of good. lets all remember that "you can eather run from it or... learn from it." lets do the learning from it.
